COVIDCert NI is a digital wallet designed specifically for Health &amp; Social Care Northern Ireland (HSC NI) COVID certificates. It serves as a convenient tool for individuals who require proof of vaccination against COVID-19 while traveling abroad.

The app operates on a voluntary basis, and it is essential for users to carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions prior to usage.

Functionality:
<ul>
<li>If you do not possess a COVID certificate, the app provides assistance in applying for one via nidirect.</li>
<li>If you have already applied for your COVID certificate, simply log in using your nidirect account.</li>
<li>Additional proof of identity may be requested during the process.</li>
<li>Valid COVID certificates will be displayed as a green QR code within the app.</li>
<li>While traveling, the QR code can be easily scanned to verify a person's COVID certificate status.</li>
<li>Parents and guardians can access COVID certificates for their dependents under 16 years old.</li>
<li>Under-16s themselves have the ability to scan and store their COVID certificate QR codes within the app.</li>
</ul>

Data Privacy:
<ul>
<li>The app prioritizes data security and does not share any information regarding an individual's vaccination status.</li>
<li>Data utilized by the app is strictly limited to what is already registered by nidirect and HSC NI.</li>
<li>No additional personal information is collected through the app.</li>
</ul>

The app's functionality will continue to be enhanced in the upcoming months. It has been collaboratively developed by Health &amp; Social Care NI, Department of Health NI, and Digital Transformation Services.

<ol>
<li>Track the progress of your COVID certificate application, including improved notifications and explanations for any encountered issues.</li>
<li>Parents and guardians can access COVID certificates for their dependents under 16 years old.</li>
<li>Under-16s themselves are able to scan and store their COVID certificate QR codes using the app.</li>
<li>Improvements have been made to enhance the user interface.</li>
</ol>
